My Story

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my business and I. My name is Natasha and my artist name is Rushie Rush. I'm autistic and dyslexic, as well as being a demisexual, apart of the LGBTQIA+ community. My interests include animals, nature, anime and the mythical.

I have always had an interest in drawing from a young age. In Nursey/Reception, my drawing was used as the front page of the Programme for the School Nativity. One of my Primary School teachers even asked me to never give up on drawing. To this day, I have kept that promise.

During High School, I dabbled in different types of art and discovered the joys of anime and cartoon drawings, which was also driven by my interest in the Japanese culture and animation. Which I grew up watching, with the likes of Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Naruto, Bleach and so much more.

When attending University, I became friends with Cindacry and My Favourite Plushie and learnt about Comic Cons and their interest in hosting a table at such events. I joined the Anime Society and broadened my interest and understanding of anime and even got the opportunity to attend conventions.

Over time, my interest in expanding my interest in art and sharing it with others, I eventually decided to create my own business: Rushie Drawings in November 2021. Turning my Facebook page from a page just displaying my hobby for drawing into a business.

Creating a Kickstarter in at the end of 2021, resulted in the funding of the Chibi Fox Pin and sticker. A few months later, I began to volunteer at Horse Sense Wirral and created the keychains, based on the residents of the wonderful charity in which the money raised from the keychains go towards Horse Sense Wirral and the restock of the items.

During mid-late 2022, I began the assist Cindacry with her table and she generously allowed me to sell my own merchandise on her table, allowing me to get my name and business some recognition. In December 22, I managed to reach a personal goal of hosting my own little table at a small, local event.

I hope to keep growing and reach new personal goals during 2023, I already have a few events planned across the year already. Let's see where 2023 will take my little business.

Please note: I'm currently working as a full-time community carer and will fulfil any orders or reply to any enquires as soon as I possibly can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
